Folded Filter Bags
Folded Filter Bags can directly replace existing round (oval) filter bags and cages without requiring structural modifications to the main dust collector equipment.
According to system design requirements, the filtration area can typically be increased by 50%–150%, significantly reducing system differential pressure while improving filtration performance and extending filter bag service life.
Compared with conventional filter bags, Folded Filter Bags offer substantially improved pulse cleaning efficiency due to their special folded structure, increased effective bag spacing, and improved airflow distribution between filter elements.
The specially designed bag and cage structure minimizes fatigue damage caused by pulse jet cleaning. The cage design eliminates horizontal support rings and provides a larger contact area, reducing direct mechanical impact on the filter media.
Under optimized operating conditions, filtration area can reach 160%–200% of conventional cylindrical filter bags. System operating resistance can be reduced to 600–800 Pa, while emission concentrations can be maintained below 5 mg/m³.
Key Benefits: 50%–200% larger filtration area, lower differential pressure, improved pulse cleaning efficiency, reduced compressed air consumption, lower energy costs, and emission levels below 5 mg/m³.

Main Advantages
| Advantage | Description |
|---|---|
| Larger Filtration Area | Double-layer folded structure increases filtration area and improves filtration efficiency. |
| Better Structural Support | Large-diameter support cage helps reduce bag deformation and external mechanical damage. |
| Easy Installation | Self-locking installation design allows faster replacement and easier maintenance. |
Main Disadvantages
| Disadvantage | Description |
|---|---|
| Cleaning System Sensitivity | Poor pulse cleaning system design may reduce dust cleaning efficiency and affect filtration performance. |
| More Complex Structure | Compared with conventional filter bags, folded filter bags require more careful maintenance and higher maintenance costs. |
| Higher Wear Risk | Gaps between folds may allow large particles to enter and cause abrasion damage to the filter media. |
| Risk of Bag Damage | Under severe abrasive conditions, local wear may lead to premature bag failure or burn-through risk. |
| Higher Material Requirement | Folded filter bags generally require better abrasion resistance and stronger structural stability than standard filter bags. |
Folded Filter Bags are an excellent upgrade solution for existing dust collector systems. They significantly increase filtration area, reduce operating resistance, improve pulse cleaning performance, lower energy consumption, and help achieve ultra-low emission requirements without major equipment reconstruction.
